Carbon Fiber is a great idea for stability

Carbon Fiber is great for stability. For those of us who require a "Rocker" Style shoe, it seems a curved innersole to mimic the curve of the shoe sole would work better that the flat.

I can now walk without pain

I have arthritis in the big toe of my left foot which makes walking quite painful. My podiatrist advised me to purchase a pair of carbon fiber insoles. After using the Tega rigid insoles I can now walk without any pain. These are working so well that I'm going to get another pair of insoles for my hiking shoes. Highly recommend!

Great product and customer service

My dad visited a doctor of podiatric medicine for pain in his big toe, which was diagnosed as Hallux Rigidus (Big Stiff Toe). The first step was to get a "rocker bottom shoe" but he had to go to the next step of getting a custom orthotic insert which would be quite expensive. Instead, we purchased a Tega carbon fiber insert that has greatly helped him, at a much lower cost. Upon registration for their 3-year warranty, Tega offered to send an extra pair for free. The CEO of Tega himself was in communication and has been very helpful. This insert seems to have avoided the final step of surgery. The extra inserts have fit into not just sneakers, but also in his dress shoes and other casual shoes, as they can be installed by flipping sides. He is happy with this product and the customer service offered to him. This product is highly recommended.

Comparison vs EST Carbon

I bought the ESTCarbon brand and Tega brand. Comparison:1) The ball of the foot is wider on EST brand than the Tega (see photo)2) The EST price is double because the Tega brand comes in a pair. I was shocked to find just one EST insole for the same price as Tega supplies two.3) The EST packaging is not nearly as secure as Tega’s. The Tega packaging clearly rips and cannot be returned as used. In fact they encourage you to rip it so that you can’t return it when it is used. The EST one I received was clearly used and returned with a piece of double stick tape closing the packaging.Overall because I have a metatarsal joint sprain, I’m buying a new EST one (that is still factory sealed) because of the wider ball of foot but if I didn’t need rigidity there specifically, I would get the TEGAs. I walked in Tegas half of the day, in my sneakers and under the padding, and barely felt them and got only very minor inflammation at the end of the day.

Great quality, Great Customer Service

I was recently, preliminarily, diagnosed with Hallux Limitus and it was recommended that I tried an insole that will prevent my big toe from bending during exercise including running. I was not quite sure how this light insole would work. This carbon fiber insole is not only well-made, it is amazingly firm and feels durable. It fit nicely into my running shoes and I have had less pain while running. Customer service is also outstanding. I noticed that I may have ordered a size too small. I contacted the company and they responded promptly, sending me a replacement with paid return label. So far, so good. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a stabilizing insert to reduce foot/joint pain.

Not sure if you will get a refund once opened.

Didn't open. But most likely exactly the same product as the other insoles. I got 5 of them and they are clones

Perfect for our needs!

I reached out to this company for help with making my 3 yr old daughter carbon fiber inserts for her shoes. She's autistic and a toe walker. We've tried braces but she refuses to wear them. The next best thing is these inserts in her shoes so she can't get up on her toes. The sole doesn't bend due to the insert! In the past, we ordered them from a medical company but they are double the cost of this manufacturer and kids feet grow all the time. It was getting to be super expensive for us, as it's not covered by insurance.I reached out and TEGA made us these 6.5 inch inserts. They fit perfectly in her shoes and we will be back to order more when she goes up a shoe size!We are so grateful for their help!!!

A whole new feeling!

Really comfortable and light weight support. I workout 5 to 6 days a week which puts a lot of pressure on my feet. Having TEGA insoles feels like a whole new level of comfort! I'll add a few more pair for my other shoes. Very satisfied.

A GREAT Product!

I had foot surgery last year due to a fracture. Healing has been very slow and I'm still having a little difficulty walking, my doctor suggested that I wear a boot or a post-op shoe. Both are problematic as they position your spine differently. Someone suggested that I add these to my shoes and then my custom orthotics. These insoles are very thin so I don't notice a whole lot of difference in my shoe fit with them added. They have been FANTASTIC! They have limited the movement and thus minimized the discomfort of other alternatives.Frances McKeehan

Just what the doctor ordered.

Keeps my newly diagnosed arthritis in check. Maybe I can go for walks again. Despite having to return the product twice for being too small, I'm now satisfied. Ended up getting the advertised 10½ to fit my 9½ sneakers. Prompt customer support.

Dangerous.

UPDATE: 9/20/22The vendor reached out to me and sent me a replacement insole. I am updating my review to 4 stars. TheProduct is doing its job now. Went on 5k run. Pretty solid.Received this today. I was pumped to go on a 5 mile run. Slide these in my running shoe and off I went. After 7 mile or so, I hear big CRAKKKKK as if I had broken a bone or something. Only to realize the left one broke in two. See picture. I’m so glad it was just a casual run. I was initially thinking about using this for my soccer cleat due to its narrow profile. Good thing I didn’t.

Updated Review - Sized too small

Updated review... I was contacted by the manufacture and they very promptly sent out a replacement set of inserts. I will have to say I am very impressed with the customer service as well as the product. I wear them all day at a job where I am constantly on my feet and I swap them over to my running shoes for a average of 30-40 miles per week. I do have plans to have a Cheilectomy performed on both feet in December and I do believe these will my my life so much more bearable until then. Updating my review to 5 stars......Although I believe these to works well as stated, I ordered the 12-12.5 and it runs small so my inserts slide around. Thought I could wear them but after 2 days you can see in the attached picture it looks like they are beginning to crack right where I need the support the most. I do believe they will help with my Hallux Rigidus if they were the proper size. I will contact for a return/replacement and update this review appropriately.

UPDATE: Excellent customer service / Two sizes too small!

UPDATE: I returned the insoles and the costume service was excellent. They asked how they could correct the issue and sent me a new pair. I went one size up instead of two just in case it was slightly too long. I have worn them in my shoes now for several days and they are GREAT!As instructed, I ordered my regular shoe size of Women's 8.5. I put the TEGA carbon inserts in 4 different shoes, and they were about 3/4" too short in every one. Since they do seem like they'll help my feet, I'm returning them and getting the size Women's 10-10.5, which is -- according to the chart -- .79 inches longer. They might be a tiny bit too long, but the size 9-9.5 is only .39" longer, so I'm taking a chance on the 10-10.5. Very disappointing to have them so far off in size.

These rigid carbon fiber insoles are exactly what

These rigid carbon fiber insoles are exactly what was prescribed for me at a fraction of the price. They work really well for me and when you first put them in, you do notice that even though thin you know they are present. But you get used the slightly smaller fitting shoe in no time at all.

The Rigid Carbon Fiber Insole helps with Hallux Rigidus

The Rigid Carbon Fiber Insole was initially an experiment to see if they would work in my wide toes shoes and help with my right toe hallux rigidus. The insoles worked so well. I purchased a second set.

Great job! Immediately reduced pain and swelling

Great job! Immediately reduced pain and swelling. I cut a complimentary shape out of stiff 1.3 mm foam core board from a Hobby Shop for the other foot to keep my hips balanced. Icing for 20 mins 3 x / day helped reduce the inflammation. Thank you for your perfect product.
